Ginger Barton
Creative Editor
Ginger Barton (Chakalall) has been with Alexander Hass for 26 years and has written, designed, and edited our weekly sector newsletters. She has her hands in all our marketing endeavors, including our recently revamped website.
Previously, Ginger served as our Creative Services Director, managing a staff of 6 designers and writers who prepared client fundraising materials, including case summaries, case statements, annual fund drives, etc. Ginger is proud to add to her list of accomplishments that she wrote a pitch that landed our former Founding Partner a book deal. She also designed the prototype of the first online fundraising portal, Fundraisinginfo.com.
Ginger was an integral player in a successful online fundraising campaign to save Sweetbriar College. She has also written fundraising material for The Carter Center, The Atlanta Zoo, The Atlanta Botanical Garden, University of Tampa, The University of Central Florida, Phi Mu National Sorority, and Trees Atlanta, just to name a few.
Before Alexander Haas, Ginger likes to say she has a checkered past. She has been a live truck sound engineer, a television news writer, and a Publicity Director where she had the honor of working with Jacqueline Onassis. She worked on projects with The Galloping Gourmet, Carly Simon, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Paula Deen, and too many more to name.
Ginger and her husband like to watch hurricanes, sip good Barbadian rum, and binge anything dealing with gladiators and Vikings. She wants to add she has never seen Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She spends her time between Barbados and Miami Beach.
