Sandra K. Kidd

Senior Partner

 

Sandra joined the Alexander Haas team in 2005.  She provides a wide range of services to clients, including campaign strategy studies, development assessments, campaign and fundraising counsel, and board and staff development. Her areas of expertise cover campaign planning and management, working with Boards and campaign leadership committees, and major and planned giving consultation. She also has worked with organizations on strategic planning, internal operations and systems review and design, and financial modeling for their organizations. 

Sandra’s consulting clients have included educational institutions, museums, and cultural organizations across the country. Her clients’ fundraising campaigns have ranged from $5 million to more than $250 million. 

Before joining the Firm, Sandra served as Director of Museum Advancement at the High Museum of Art, the leading visual arts institution in the Southeast. At the High, she headed the membership and development program and coordinated the High’s $130 million expansion campaign, which topped its capital goal and received a lead gift of $15 million, at that time the largest gift in its history.

Sandra is a former staff member of CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) in Washington, DC, started up and managed development operations for Emory University, and served as VP for Advancement at Ferrum College, a United Methodist college in Virginia. She began her career at Vanderbilt University, her alma mater, where she earned the BA in English and the MBA in organizational management from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. 

Sandra’s interests include children’s causes, literacy, and social issues that impact rural and underserved communities across the Southeast. She also is interested in regional history and cultural folkways.  She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Atlanta, which focuses on programs that better the lives of women and girls.
